Material Lab at Materials for Architecture 2018

24.04.2018

Materials for Architecture 2018 returns to West London this week and Material Lab will be exhibiting along with its founder Johnson Tiles and partners Karndean DesignFlooring and Formica. We'll also be displaying a selection of innovative surface materials from the likes of Sensitile, Metall-FX and 3AComposites, amongst others.

The event, which takes place at the ILEC Centre over two days from 25 April, is fast-becoming a regular for the architecture and design community with a conference, exhibition, CPD seminars and evening reception.

Amongst the many talks, we're looking forward to hearing Ceramics in the City by architect Maria Gasparian. She'll be looking at architectural ceramics, and how they bring colour and texture vibrancy to buildings, city spaces and landscape.

Meanwhile, materials researcher Richard Chatham will be asking – solar shading: do we need it? Can we do without it? And Cement Reimagined is a talk by Banah UK that considers how we can reimagine how cements in concrete can be better today and the future.

Pop along to Materials for Architecture from tomorrow and we'll look forward to welcoming you. Find out more at www.materialsforarchitecture.com.
