Below are some of our personal favourites...
Beth Lewis-Williams // MA Design: Ceramics, Jewellery and Furniture
Beth Lewis-WIlliams collection of porcelain lighting exploits the traditional and mysterious technique of Lithophanes. The lights are realised using 3D printing technologies, the latest LED and lighting controls.
George Morgan // BA Textile Design
Taking inspiration from Russian Futurism, Constructivism and Tetris George Gordon's collection manipulates MDF, Plywood and Hemlock veneer using techniques such as laser cutting, routing and printing.
Rosie Stonham // BA Product Design
Rosie Stonham created a stylish sofa inspired by Route Master Bus with contract space in mind for furniture designers Very Good & Proper using Camira Fabrics.
Ronnie Chan Ho Chi // MA Design: Ceramics, Jewellery and Furniture
Ronnie's collection of necklaces and earrings take shape in architectural forms and are inspired from the essence of the Baroque.
We also really enjoyed Deepika Bhathela texiles pieces, Sophie Thomas’ clever use of Corian to make intimate jewellery pieces and were pleased to see Johnson Tiles Artile process being put to good use in the MA Design: Ceramics, Furniture of Jewellery area.
